Cycle times in literature hard to find

I have notice after a few days of searching that cycle times are not really printed in user manuals or spec sheets. I guess this is on purpose? I have only rarely found machines that print some indication of the cycle time or at least the agitation time and then you have to guess at the total time. For example i could only find one LG front loader with cycle times and I found the Fisher & Paykel top loaders showed the agitation times. There are probably a few more but its rare.

Ive noticed the same. It always makes me look for the tech sheets which are even harder to find without tearing into the machine. It could be so buyers don't compare cycle times, but Ive wondered the same.

Speed Queen Publishes Cycle Times..

The manual for my Speed Queen front loader publishes the cycle times in great detail. This includes the times for rinse, spin, agitate and fill based on cycle, soil level, and other wash options selected.

Oh yes, I have found that Speed Queen was very good. but then it doesn't get sold where I live here in Canada unless it's under the Huebsch brand name.

I noticed that they were not posted also. I think it is because they are using the same handbook for several different models and also that the water temperature and or rebalancing makes it hard to reliably state a time. On some of the machines, if you can find one that has been plugged in, you can actually cycle through the various washes and they will list the times on the machine.

Yes i thought about asking a sales rep if it would be possible to at the very least flip through the cycles with the control dial to see what times are set. at least the manuals could tell you that much!

The time on my LG washer varies based on the weight of the load. It would be difficult if not impossible to show anything other than an 'average' time for a load based on a cycle. Also, the modifiers can dramatically change the cycle time.
