Hmm...My 1950 O'Keefe and Merritt is very similar, but only has "two rings of fire" It has adjustable simmer caps like their inner ring; it has 12,000 BTU per burner compared to their 15,000 BTU. Easier to clean mine by the looks of things.

Three heats? Small, large and both?

LOL. mom's early 70's HARWICK gas near TOL range had the same thing=> "tri-temp" burners.

Totally useless. Annoying clicks between heats.

At least this also gives you the little stump burner in the middle.

So many gas related posts of late. LOL

Toggle, actually think Hardwick got sucked up in the that whole Magic Chef/Maytag thing somewhere along the line, and of course Jenn Air is or has been aligned in the past, so that's probably where they got the idea! LOL

Look, something else gassy for youre neighbors...

Looks totaly usless to me, than again i;ve never cooked on as

My Aunt Fern's Hardwick

had two rings of fire. GREAT for slow simmering. I used to love to watch the "star" in the center when it was on a "high" low setting!
