I need some help in depicting the age of a commercial SQ topload washer. I don't have a model number other than it is an early EA model. The serial number is R8237277YK. I know later on they changed it to be the first 2 digits is the year of manufacture but wasn't sure when. I've been told this is a model from the mid to late 80's but would like to know for sure.
