What is DD?
DD = Direct Drive
BD = Belt Drive
This refers to the type of transmission for Whirlpool/Kenmore and other WP owned brands. While there are some exceptions, direct drive is roughly 1985/86 and newer.

Nice looking units. Always liked the look of the dual action agitator with that aqua locking ring. That's very similar to the set we had except these are much closer to TOL, if not totally TOL.
