Which is the better option for getting clothes dry in the autumn and winter months out of dehumidifier or tumble dryer? Never owned either so just interested in other users experiences or recommendations.

I hang dry all my better shirts, (button front..) and the dehumidifier will dry them over night, but anything heavier would take days.

I hang my shirts to dry but a lot of the other things like, towels, bedding, and heavier fabrics goes in the dryer
I hang my shirts to avoid shrinking. But I run them through the dryer on either lowest heat setting or air only to remove any lint. Sometimes it's not easy to see the lint that has accumulated.
