Merry Christmas to you all! (contemporary Xmas songs)

While I am completely aware that this is the wrong forum, I still feel an urge to post something here: I may have appeared rough or even grunty to some of you at times, yet I cannot refrain from being kitschy now and then, at Christmas times to be exact this time. May the webmasters shift my post to whereever it belongs to.
Just for your enjoyment: 2 versions of a very recent German Christmas carol (no it is NOT the cranky old "Tannenbaum" stuff).

Have a look at a gathering of one of the daughters of "Kelly family" with some representatives of our current serial stars and off-voices as well as to a version of Ella Endlich (which of course is an artist's name, compare it to "Fiona Final" (directly translated from her German name)).

While the stars' gatherings song is nice to see for its international value, I do appreciate Ella's glossy Christmas appeal and her crystal clear voice. Some nice apparel makes up for a decent Christmas song as it should be. What do you think?

And can you re-recognize some singers of video 1 as background singers in video 2?
I am really not sure, the hygienic Uma-Therman-like cleanliness or the peoples-of-the-world-unite or the let's-be-all-one version?
I like them both alike.

Anyway:
Merry Christmas to you all! Hug all the ones you do love.

The discussions of Christmas music has left out what I find so magical I've asked it be played at my wake (really)
STAR OF BETHLEHAM by the CENTURY MEN (gay!) is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

thanks, the best answer of all

hey Cuffs (for want of a better name, you haven't published any other),
thanks so much for this musical hint (saying that returning home just now): I was playing that (or: your) song up and down in all of our neighborhood, for all my relatives and for so many friends. So welcome!
One of my favorite songs by now thanks to your post.

The rest is history not to be extended here as this here seems to be mainly an English speaking (and therefore not too much international) forum.
Thanks again, we had some great holidays, the song is really nice, all loved it, some tried to sing along ;-)
