Foca works really well on whites. Haven't tried the Viva yet.

I really like phosphated Foca. Quite cheap, cleans and rinses well. Now it's no longer available at KMart with phosphates...about a year ago they swapped it out for the non-phosphated version. I can still located the phosphated in Mexicantown, and when down there buy several bags.

We used to swear by FOCA before I came down with my detergent allergy. For maximum whitening, let the load soak in the suds for 30 minutes before proceeding with the rest of the cycle. It really does whiten!

I would love to get my hands on some more Viva, love the stuff.  I've been rationing what I have for the last few years because I've been unable to find anymore around here.
