I have Detroit Jewel gas stove and can't find any information on it. It looks like it was made in the 1930s. It is my 2nd stove but works wonderfully and I use it a lot. It has a top that covers the burners if you want it to and two drawers that are used for storage. The stove sits up on legs and has a thermostat that may have used a carbon rod in the oven to determine the temperature. It looks like it may have been an expensive stove for the time period. The entire stove is covered in porcelain. Thanks, Gary

Company was a Detroit brand when lots of stoves were made in Detroit. They got absorbed into Welbilt in the mid-50s during the great merging of stove brands/plants. They had the benefit of some good industrial design which has made them classics.
