Interesting--
I don't think it's her best release, (for me, that would be "Hounds of Love,") but, it is far from a dud.
Listening to it right now. I think it could have been more concisely edited, I don't think there's enough material to justify a two disc set, but that's my only quibble.
I got it this Wednesday, and it's all I've been listening to since.
I gave it 4 stars at Amazon, and wish Amazon allowed for half stars.... Some of the reviews at Amazon are utterly off the wall. Some think "Mrs. Bartolozzi," the "Washing Machine" song are about a woman coming to terms with her husband's death, others think it's about the woman choosing suicide.
I think some people are dismayed with "Aerial" because of the 12 year wait between releases.
The art is amazing, though. Love her brother John Carder Bush's photography, and the painting in the booklet is also very, very nice.
