That's a really neat Continental there. I can see the roofline difference between this one and the production Mark VIII model. I guess 22,000 plus for a one-off Mark is a pretty good deal. I couldn't touch it though.

Perhaps this was Ford's answer to the BMW Z1 drop-down doors? Most likely the Mark VIII is worth the asking price and maybe more besides, given the obvious professional quality of the conversion. The one real problem with the car is that missing driver's side window. This would be a custom piece of curved, tinted glass and probably very expensive to have made. Hopefully the broken pieces of the original are still with the car, because without them a new pattern would be needed before the glass is made.
