dishwasher brand?

Does anyone know what brand of dishwasher the Clampetts' had in their kitchen? I was just watching an episode and wondered. Seems to me that I don't ever remember seeing them use it or even refer to it. It just sat there......

Won't say it wasn't, but thought the controls looked a little too fancy for KA's of the time.....looked more like a Tappan, but if I knew, I wouldn't have asked....LOL

I always thought it was a Tappan as well. Thought that was strange that it wasn't a more expensive model like a Kitchen Aid but who I knows I could be wrong. Terry

we may never know what brand the DW was, but we ALL should know what brand the washer and dryer were......lol

and did you notice that the two fridges got moved across the room at the same time the twin ovens moved to the wall where the never used dw and yellow wall phone were located? (i think the phone may have been used once)please forgive me...sort of a Beverly Hillbillies fan here....the first episode was aired the night my parents brought home the keys to our "new" house, and I still live in it...a mid-20th century modern with a flat roof.....if I had only known then to save all the "original" stuff in it....

And what make was the big circular gas cooktop with about 8 burners on it? They also had a 4 burner set in the background if I recollect. I don't remember the wall phone but many times they had a deskset on the kitchen table they used.

The wall phone was seldom if ever used and the desk set was a major player on the kitchen table. I had wondered if anyone else noticed the "small" cooktop over in the corner. Maybe it was what Granny used to "bile" her wash water on when Mrs. D. complained too much about the smoke from the fire.
