Glad you found a machine you like. I highly suggest running the Auto cycle. It forces a prewash and will use purges if it needs to. Plus the higher wash and rinse temperatures are good too. I find it cleans just as well as the Heavy cycle, but does actually take longer. Just be sure to clean the filter on occasion.

Bosch Ascenta

Today the top wash arm in my GE fell off so time to replace it. It's just over six years old but it's just as well. This model isn't stainless steel inside, and the Bosch Ascenta models look very good to me, especially if they don't have a heating element at the bottom of the tub.
