Hi Guys,
The simpson Fluid drive I found, has a rubber port on the back at when not perrished, goes through the back panel, so in case of an overfill the water runs out the back and away from the electricals.
On my machine the port is perrished and now cracked, so until I can replace it / work around it, I cant use it. Otherwise, testing over the weekend confirms it works perfectly
Parts are NLA for these machines and have been for a while, But parts for the old Speed Queen machines may still be available.
Also, I'm curious about how the machine keeps the water in the outer tub, I'm assuming there is a boot involved? Are there bearings as well?
Can anyone advise, whether the solid tub speed queens have the overflow port pictured? and can anyone show me an example of what the tub boot/bearings look like underneath?
Thanks
Nathan
