If so you might want this book......

I bought the "Easy Bake Oven Gourmet" cookbook (yes, cookbook) a couple years ago because when I saw it I just had to have it! But the problem is I don't have an Easy Bake Oven. While I did read through it and really loved all the information and history, but I really have no use for it now.

I am cleaning my "office" and this book is one of many things destine to live elsewhere, so I wanted to try putting the word out here for anyone who might be interested, before I go to the trouble of listing it on E-BAY.

This 125 page book has a nice history of the Easy Bake Oven with facts, vintage photos and other information. It also has 32 original GOURMET recipes (created by Chef Bobby Flay and other Chefs you may know) specifically for the Easy Bake Oven for this book. A few examples: Deep Dish Truffle Lobster Pie, Paper Wrapped Chicken, Ham & Spinach Quiche, Pear Streusel Coffee Cake and Bourbon Chocolate Birthday Cake.

If you or someone you know might be interested, please e-mail me at [email protected]

Thanks!
Kevin

"Well, Chuck, considering you now have fantastic cooking skills, I guess that should serve as testimony for the childhood use of Easy Bake Ovens, LOL!"

Hey Frig,

I don't remember exactly, but I may have tried shoving everything but the kitchen sink into that poor thing. I know I tried fried potatoes and fried eggs. And since it was upstairs, where my grandmother lived, I'd put some dough from making Christmas cookies in there.

Meatloaf. Now that I think of it, when she made meatloaf, I tried some in one of the cake pans!

And my parents didn't know then???

Fun times! But, again, has anyone else had the popcorn attachment??? I don't think that many were around!

Chuck

Popcorn attachment?

When did they make the popcorn attachment? Must have been after my time. I had the yellow one. One of my fondest childhood memories is of my Nunny teaching me how to make pizza in my Easy Bake Oven.
