In the 70s, we had beautiful sheets and napkins in various designs with the name Vera on them. This was not Vera Wang, but Vera Neumann, a textile artist born in 1907, whose fabrics were used for the window treatment and upholstery in the White House 3rd floor Solarium during the Truman administration. Unfortunately, most of the sheets I have from that time were for our twin beds. We even had the matching bedspreads. There is some talk about some of her designs being offered again at at merchants like Macy's Bloomies, B,B&Beyond & some others. I would love a king set of the green lattice bedding. Anyway these are textiles you might see in stores again.
