Unless it's a model that I haven't seen! The bottom looks to new! But the serial # jives! Got me!

This is a Deluxe model for that year - 1956. Interesting that it does have a more 60's look below the cooktop.

The "work" on the control panel sure resembles that found on the panel of the 56 washer.

I have contacted the seller and it appears that the unit is only an hour away from Cory and I!! Waiting to find out if the seller is up to a 'pre-buy' visit......

It almost looks like they took the cooktop off of a 56 and put it on a late 60!
