Even though he states its a Whirlpool Duet, its really a Kenmore HE3...same thing I guess. Seems like a pretty decent deal since it also includes the base. What do you guys think? I already have a new Duet...so this would be something to play around with I guess. I'm also wondering if I could take the base off this machine and put it under my daily driver Duet? I would think so...

If your machine and the one in the ad are around the same age, I see no reason why you couldn't take the pedestal and put it on your Duet.

That seems like a good price for that machine, and a good machine for the price. Just be sure that they have the shipping braces to use when transporting it, or bring the ones from your machine if you're going to haul it yourself.

This reminds me of something I've been wanting to ask. My Duet 9300 is over 5 years old. IF ever I get a new Whirlpool FL, will my current pedestal fit? I think they measure the same size.
