Love those bubble lights! I was distracted by the hand mixers - have a few of those, but nothing like your collection! The colored lights sure bring a new mystique to the mixers, but I know that's not the idea.

What fun! It's like SantaLand over there!! Makes it hard not to get into the spriit of the season with all those glowing bubble lights. Do you ever trip a circuit breaker with all that Xmas bling??

I plan on doing the outside decorating this weekend, its supposed to be in the 50's here. Inside decorating starts the day after thanksgiving. I too love the bubble lights, I have one lone set of them that will be on one of the two trees. Last year at the old house we only had one tree, I used multicolored c7's and the bubble lights, with all vintage/ antique ornaments and silver garland. It looked absolutely gorgeous. Not exactly sure what I'm doing this year.

Tell Donald I'm stealing his idea and putting bubble lights in the candleabras I put in the front porch windows. I hit myself on the forehead and said "Why didn't I think of that!"

I love the globe lights - so pretty.

I'll bet your power company sends you a nice card every holiday season! I put 1100 miniature bulbs on a 7' cut-live tree once many years ago and you could see the glare in our living room from a block away when the blinds were open. The heat from all those tiny bulbs was astonishing, it could be felt when you walked up to it and kept the room pretty comfortable.

You can probably dial back the thermostat during the "lighting hours" with all those beautiful bulbs glowing!

Well, the outside is almost done, I need two more strings of lights (a set of 100 clear mini lights and a set of C9's), and the rest of the lights, and some of the decorations got left at the other house. We will be going up there (4 hours away) the first week of December, can grab them then. At least I have enough lights to get the trees up on friday (C7's on the upstairs one, and multi colored mini lights downstairs)
