First, I would like to apologize to mr.coppertone and others who are fans of the coppertone color.
I went to an estate sale several weeks ago after my GE Americana died, and there was a coppertone GE refrigerator with the swing out shelves and bottom freezer. I bought it and repainted it to match the turquoise in my kitchen. We didn't do the best job with the paint, so we will try again in the spring when the weather is more stable and conducive to painting.
I miss the Americana terribly, and the plan is to ship it off somewhere to get it fixed. In the meantime, hopefully this little guy will last.
Here are before and after shots. Please ignore the wall on the right in the after shot as we have to replace a section of drywall. The Americana covered up the space so we actually forgot about it.
