Wow, that's not something you read about every day. Goes to prove some dogs will eat absolutely anything, LOL!

Stomach-turningly disgusting as it may have been, I, like the owner in the story, would have dug through the dog's wretch to retrieve $400. And then I would have sent the dog away. Far, far, away.

"...if you want it, here it is, come and get it...&quot

Sounds like something out of the movie, "The Magic Christian"....

Did I hear you say that there must be a catch....

Will you walk away from dog poo full of money?

Sonny! If you want it...here it is...come & get it.

But you better hurry 'cause it's goin' fast.

I love a sing along~

Actually, these people should have known better.
Every year dogs die because of things they have chewed on. I remember one woman that came in to my vet's office with a 10 month old German Shepard that had gotten into her purse and chewed up her lipstick. Well the outside case shattered as the dog was chewing it and it shredded the dogs intestines.
One of our dogs, Brandy a Yellow Lab/Golden mix was a massive chewer when we first got her. The vet gave her to us as she had previous homes and was ultra destructive. My vet even went as far and gave us a 30 return policy if she didn't work out.
We never gave her the chance to chew. She was put in a kennel when we were not at home. We'd reward her when we got home. Little by little we would let her out when we were gone and slowly but surely she didn't chew on anything. We started obedience training with her and 6 months later we could let her loose in the house without her getting into anything. My vet couldn't believe it, she thought the dog was unadoptable. She said Brandy also was sooo much calmer than before.
The people with the money chewer should start on this before the problem gets too big. It could keep the dog out of the homeless shelter.
