Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

A wise move, Richard!

I actually make my own air fresheners, it's really easy. You can make whatever scents you like then too.

All you need is distilled water (I get mine out of the dryer condenser tank or the dehumidifier), essential oils of your choice and some form of odorless spirt - you can use rubbing alcohol but I use vodka since we ususally have some in the house (hic!).

Add a tablespoon of the alcohol to the distilled water and then add between 10 and 40 drops of essential oils to suit your own strength. You can make blends as well if you like. The alcohol disperses the oils so it actually mixes with the water rather than just sitting on top.

Add to a spray bottle, give it a shake and away you go!

We have vanilla for the living room, lavender for the bedroom, tea tree for the bathrooms and orange for the kitchen (the citrus scents cut through grease and cooking smells).
