hi everyone!!
just when i thought id seen all the internet forums this one turns up.
when i was kid there was just me and dad. my mum left when i was 5, after that it was just me and dad. we didnt have much in the way of a new anything. But we did have fun keeping the things we did have going.
as a very young child the first thing i remember about learning mechanical aptitude was based around our Bendix washing machine.
i have no idea why dad sought to keep it alive for as long as he did, maybe it was necessity over notoriety but the Bendix was a staple of my early years.
many thing were learnt by me because of that machine but ill never forget it.
im guessing it was about a 1955 model, front loading with the washing powder going in the top.
i would love to see some pictures of the relevant models or whatever you have to offer.
many thanks,
sheepers.
