Early '50s, Indeed!

That's a 1950 model, an RM-35, I think. The model-year giveaway is the presence of the oven vent on the cooktop, between the left-hand burners. Frigidaire moved the vent to the backsplash the following year.

This is not a range that grows on trees, people! Someone hopefully will give it a home. P.S.: This is the "Deluxe"; the other 30-incher for that year didn't have the automatic oven control.

That My Mom and Dads

First stove, It and a matching fridge bought at W.E.Shaw furniture in 1950...this was the only 30 inch stove made at this time, the cheaper model had no drawer for storage, no light and no clock.

Sandy / Hans - I saved this link for a few days and I wasn't going to post it because I thought it might not be of interest -what a difference a post makes, though. I can't remember what my mom and dad bought, and wished I could remember. After a concussion (bad accident) when I was 13, I lost some memory of some events that day...lately, I think I should be able to remember the fridge and stove, but I can only remember bits and pieces of features. So many people here remember their parent's laundry and kitchen appliances!

I have this stove!!

I have this stove in storage. Its been there almost 30 years. I am remodeling my kitchen and am going to install it shortly.
So nice to see it again after all this time.
Thanks!!
