Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

WOW -

i just saw one very similar to that in an antique store that was going out of business. Just not enough room ... I'd get it for the sheer coolness factor, right around an 8 out of 10!

Too bad the handle is broken off, it looks to be in nice condition otherwise. It would be a fun toy to play with, but a bit spendy for a machine this age!

I love the mag ad dropping the cake into the machine, Sears had one like that in 73-74. We should do some washing tests on our vintage machines around here, drop a single layer with frosting, or a couple of cupcakes here and there in the tub just to see how they perform. The results could be very interesting.

That is pricey, maybe not, if they are a rarity in the Land Down Under. I bought one a couple years back for $25, I've
seen them for $75. You could always watch and see if it doesn't sell they might relist at a lower price.

nice machine

I have the very same dishwasher in storage. Washes & dries very well. A bit loud though. Michael

Hey actually i have a old General Electric dishwasher. Its not the one in the picture, but its a good machine. Mine is the model 422. The one that is frontloaded. The only bad things with it is that it leaks a little bit and is noisy, but thats ok for me.

One tip if you gonna buy the machine that is above: Check for rust in the bottom. If it is, maybe its not working good. Risk for electrical problems
