....the million dollar question!

This seller NEVER gets insulted, no matter how hard one might try. I didn't put these on EBay because I wanted to offer them to members of the club and not the ''Betty Crocker'' girls that only want it because they're doing a ''retro'' house! I'm taking offers and will let you know, by private email, what the offers are as they come in. Buyers ID's are kept known only by me, so please don't ask whos bidding. So make an offer! Mark

Roanoke Robert (Lady Kenmore) won't let me part with the 56, even though I'm a Roller-matic kind of guy. If he ever decides that I can part with it, I'll let you know! The 56 really is sweet! Mark

Wish you were closer to San Francisco. As a war bride, my mother's first apartment had a broom closet size kitchen. Somehow my dad purchased a 1951 Frigidaire washer like the one pictured and was able to fit the washer in the kitchen. The elderly landlady was not happy and my parents never heard the end of it from the woman as the machine was shaking as it spun. The apartment building was not structurally sound.
We moved in 1955 and the machine continued washing for a growing family of ten until 1963. The washer was replaced
with a 1963 Frigidaire Custom Deluxe model that lasted well into the early 90's and was only junked because of a leaking outer tub.

Shipping assistance

For the lucky winner of the Frigidaire: The man who brought my pink GE 1957 set to California from NY for the BEST PRICE ever is: Keith Bradshaw and his cell phone number is 828-432-7510. He makes cross-country runs and may have to schedule delivery around the time in which he will next be in that particular part of the country, but the price was right and the machines arrived damage free.

Jason! Both the 800 and the 900 have detergent dispensers!!!

George! Thanks for the shipping info. I'm sure the guys
appreciate. Mark

***I will be closing the offer on this Frigidaire on Sunday evening, as I figure that it will give everyone a chance to see the item by then***

My birth washer

After a nice long wash, it virtually rips thru its moves, the rinses and spins very fast and brief. It is THE machine for energetic speed freak types. Even tough it won't overflow--unless you want to play and do it manually-- it's great for suds-saving because the wash water is not diluted as in all later Frigidaires, minus the 1-18's

Geraldine says I'd say "Up Up Up" and she'd hold me up to watch. No matter how long she held me, it was never enough. In time, I could see in without her, transfixed all day, until I was big enough run the loads myself. Brand new, it was $350, a small fortune back in 1951. No lid switch @1180 rpms. DOUBLE YAY.

It looks brand new. What a treasure. So tempting, but I so worship the 62 Multi, that I would love to see someone else, who's dying for a Frigidiare like I was for so many years, get it. The joy for that person would be overflowing.
