I dont know why that model is called automatic spin rinse when you would have to hold a hose manually to rinse clothes in the spinner. If it had the faucet hookup and a swivel faucet that could be another story.

buyer beware....or at least under the presumption that this may not work, and cause to have that price lowered.....for this, or any machine for that matter

when anyone says, "it worked when last plugged in"....yeah, decades ago!....do we suddenly not have Electricity anymore.....

chances are, they did plug it in before posting it, and it doesn't work, so were trying to get as much as possible for it....when in reality, sometimes its just scrap value as far as price....

if this thing worked, they would have boasted that in the Ad, and asked top dollar for that alone....

I carried a portable generator with me once, because they claimed there was no power in the barn.....well, the lights all seemed to work.....and it may have worked the last time it was used 20 years ago, but today, its not firing up....people will try to get over on you whenever they can....

just be cautious....

I'm with Christina on this one.  The swivel faucets are a requirement if I ever find one of these within striking distance.

 

As for the "autmomatic" claim, I think the logic behind it is that you can pack the spin basket full and let 'er rip, instead of having to feed piece by piece through a wringer.  Again, the swivel faucets help to make the process a little more automated.

 

And yeah, the claim that "it worked last time it was used/plugged in" is a major red flag.  Translation:  it doesn't work now.
