well I do have one of these, in a rough working state. As you say the main difference is in the storage section at the back rather than storage hooks. The nameplate on the front is surounded in aluminium trim rather than the grey plastic. The washtub is of the older matt finish stainless steel and the moulding of the top trim isn't quite as completly surounding the washtub, so when washing, water and foam bubble up over the hinge side if the washtub lid.
Otherwise the visual from above is the same, I know this model was launched in 1967, anyone know to the contray that this wasn't the first twintub with autorinsing. I know of the rolls autorinse model, but i've been told this was little more than a spin timer and a water spout over the spinner, though i've not seen one to know this for sure.
For those interested in the inside workings, the spindryer differs from the 3314l in that it has the bell shaped cast iron pulley, with the short spin can shaft, where as the 12l has the longer shaft, flater pulley with the tranax driving pin.
