Saw one of these vacs at the Goodwill today. I don't know how to describe it well, other than to say it has that Royal/Kirby old-fashionedy look. Chrome with red trim. I have no idea how old it is.

No price on it (which may mean negotiable) and it looked in fairly decent condition--some battle scars but not abused.

I have no need for this but I wondered if anyone else might want it? If so, I'll go back and see if it's still there.

Yes--I would be interested-love those Electro-Hygiene machines-but its in Baltimore-I am in Greenville-Whats the swap shops price on it?and we will have to arrange shipping(Mail boxes,UPS Store, or whatever?)I have been hunting around here for an electro-Hygiene and haven't found one locally.Maybe that one could be it?Please check on it for me.

Dang. Wish I had known earlier. Probably won't get back to the Goodwill until Saturday, but I'll make sure I do.

Rex, what's your max price on it? I'll try to bargain them down if necessary.

Flea Market Season is approaching fast

The weather broke on Saturday so I hit an outdoor flea market for the first time since winter. I picked up a few minor items. The one guy had a Kirby Heritage vaccum cleaner with all the bells and whistles and it looked brand new. Quite an attractive machine. He wanted 50 bucks for it. I don't know squat about vintage vacs and I didn't want to buy it on spec so I passed on it. I'm afraid this is going to happen to me a lot this year..."one of those freaks is probably going to want this, but how can I be sure???"

I thought of you Veg when I dug these HUGE fake eyelash kits out of a box, unused. Must have been from the late 60's early 70's. I'm talking HUGE fake eyelashes.
