Would any one know where I might be able to find a set of runners for the lux 30? some one removed the runners from the one I found and put on wheeles.
On lux 30's these machines were built for a long time-like from the 30's to the fifties-later machines had ROUND profile runners-were made from round wire or tubing.Earlier ones were made with flat runners What color is the body of your machine-that gives you an idea if its an early one or later one-Blue is for later machines-and brown I beleive was for early ones. You would need to get the flat runners(made from flat metal material)if blue-the round runners.I have two LX's one has "bojack" wheels on it-they are attached with clamp like devices.I have left them on.The bag ejector in one of my LX's looks in good condition.I have a thirty that is later(blue) that I bought from a lady that had just bought a new machine-Her 30 still works nicely. She said she used to use it when she was little.

Hi WCD63, I would try watching ebay catagory, "Vintage Electrolux", some times good parts pop up on there and you might try asking one of the dealers. Good luck with your XXX!
wcd63-Yes think you will need round runners-probably the only way to get any is to get another(junk) 30 that you can get the runners from it-other options-visit vac shops in your area-esp those that do a lot of repairs-they may be able to get a set of runners for you.
