They have been selling Electrolux branded fridges, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, and outdoor grills for about three years now. They appear to be upgraded Frigidaire models, except for the SS ranges, which Frigidaire doesn't offer (they have ranges with SS trim, but not commercial grade SS ranges). It seems as if they are reserving the Electrolux brand for their luxury models, and reserving Frigidaire for their middle of the road models. Frigidaire has been around for so long and has such name recognition, I doubt they would ditch the name anytime soon. Frigidaire FL machines (in particular model 2940) are among Consumer Reports three recommended Best Buys (combination of performance and price), so they would be foolish to rebrand their appliances as Frigidaire's reputation for FLs continues to grow.
