No, it has nothing to do with the Big Brother *LOL*

In 1984 Zanussi merged into E'lux group, since then most of E'lux washers (and some dishwashers) were sourced from Zanussi plants (link to a related old thread).

Does anyone have infos / pics / links to share about euro E'lux made before 1984 ?

second question : was the small half size machine made in Sweden sold also as Eudora Babynova ?

Thanks in advance
Carlo

My Mum had an Electrolux 800rpm machine, she got it of an old lady that went into a nursing home....have no idea of the model number.....but chestermike posted a which review that it was featured in. Was super quiet, was certainly a Zanussi, same drum.

sorry

Just looked at the link.....Mum's machine was from the 70's, brown facia, 3 round silver buttons and an orange sliding button on the door catch

WH32/34

From the parts diagram, we can see that these machines were not of Zanussi build. Zanussi never used a backplate arrangement on its outer tubs.

I cannot find a picture of the WH32 at the moment.

WH1075

... but this time we have an answer. I found this in small print at the end of the instruction book. Anyone have an idea as to which French factory this would have been?

WH1100

Very similar to the WH1075 but this had an 1100rpm spin.
Both the WH1075 and WH1100 were introduced in 1981/1982 and were made in an Electrolux factory in France.

Further research indicates that the WH32/WH34 were made by Creda in the UK!

So that solves the mystery,

WH30/31 - made by Zanussi in Italy
WH32/34 - made by Creda in UK
WH1075/WH1100 - made by Electrolux in France.

Hope that is of some help.

Tom.

Arthur Martin

Hi Carlo,
Yes, I was thinking Arthur Martin myself. It was the only Electrolux related washing machine manufacturer in France I could think of.

Tom.

Here is the WH32 - branded 'electronic' only, compared the the 'electronic 1000' of the WH34.
Would WH32 have been 800rpm Tom?
