Only for this set I liked the almond color or whatever it was called better than white.

Wow, I didn't even know they had lighted panels, don't know much about these. I thought that was just a stripe. I like these alot now.
You can see the light switch on the under left side of the panel parallel with the light lens. Luigi, you are something else to have that photo in your archives.

The cutout for the controls looks exactly the same as the current speed queen siblings.

Florescent Panel Lights
Whenever we see these Amana machines on the junk pile I grab the top cover off the consoles and the light assembly, these lights work on current SQ washers and dryers with no modifications.
I think that SQ could offer an LED light version of these as an accessory for their current machines.
