The info sheet, which is tied via different .pdf file names on ALL the Additional Resources - From the Manufacturer link choices, references laundrylux.com as the warranting manufacturer.  The About Us info there references Swedish Wascator, which became Wascomat in North America, which was bought by Electrolux in 1973, then became Laundrylux circa 2007.
 
 
Documentation says four cycles.  Normal Cold, Normal Warm, Normal Hot, Delicate.

Normal cycles are LOW wash fill, full cold agitated rinse.

Delicate is cold with higher wash fill and reduced agitation (whatever that means, either action or time or both), and a full rinse.

Heavy Duty option increases wash time, not available on Delicate.

Extra Rinse option.

Manager service mode programming options for shower rinse on all cycles to lessen water usage, or a forced additional Rinse on all cycles.  Low and High fill levels can be adjusted in service mode.  Setting the service mode additional Rinse, plus selecting the user Extra Rinse option may provide three rinses but that isn't explicitly stated.

On-Premise version (not coin-op) has a Rinse and Spin by pressing Extra Rinse without first choosing a cycle.
 
Nice to see Home Depot offer a more quality built product, hopefully at least.

At least for their front loads they boast of a 15,000+ cycle life compared to 10,400 that Speed Queen boasts. I don't know how much those numbers really mean as it's the companies themselves setting them based on their own testing and marketing.

What strike me is that the CrossOver claims to weigh 137 pounds. The Speed Queen TC5 weighs closer to 190 lbs as I recall. That would indicate to me that the Speed Queen has a lot more metal. The Weight of the CrossOver is more on par with the Maytag I had that was garbage. In fact, the picture of the tub on the PDF looks more similar to the Maytag with the plastic bottom on the inner tub.

I guess weight doesn't tell the whole story, but it makes me a little wary to go out and spend $1,600, not that I was going to anyway.

Then the specs on the Home Depot site tell you the machine weighs 299 lbs. I kind of doubt that, but at least it's not "0" like a lot of the other specs on the HD site.
 
Haier is making "commercial" washers for Laundrylux? How do you know that? I can't find anything about it offhand, but then I can find very little on that particular washer.

I would guess it cleans about as well as any top loader with a standard (not dual action) agitator, but I don't know of anyone with actual experience with it, or its Haier sibling if there is one.
 
The thing is that on the LaundryLux website they dont show the top loaders or maybe I wasn't looking in the right place there. Didn't Haier come out with residential laundry some time ago that had this agitator ? For some reason I remember seeing that the agitator is actually an "Agipellor" where it moved at high speed to achieve the wash action needed. The wash basket hole pattern is the same that they used in those machines as well.
 
Thanks for the washer manual! I like the cycle sequence. With some knobs this would make a great home style washer. It would be nice to be able to choose between one spray rinse, one deep rinse, deep rinse + spray rinse or two deep rinses.
