Many thanks for the effort you put into making these videos for us!

I love your machine... Nice and stylish

Whats it been like as your every day runner?

Thanks
Dan

I'm surprised that it spins anti clockwise. because my hottie wf220 has the same drum but mine must have a different motor which goes clockwise.

Thanks for the videos! Your hotpoints really nice, i've been intregued by these models for a while. I can't believe how many varations there are on each machine!

And too see it spinning anticlockwise is even more bizarre!

Thanks again

Darren

the anti clockwise spin

its bizarre, like i said this is the newest of my three hotties - its the only one that spins anti-clockwise. will work on getting some vids of the other two machines as well, but yeah the various between all three mahines are astounding.

yeah this is the everyday runner - between the four of us in the flat we often fil it to the full 7kg capacity - this model doesn't wash as well as the aquarius. and occasionally it gives up on the spin, so the clothes require a second spin thats only happened once or twice though.

but yeah thanks for the compliments ont the vids - glad you enjoyed them :o)

Hmm interesting point u made their stratus, It makes me wonder the new models are movin to anticlockwise spins. I did wonder how long it'd take, with indesits being anticlockwise.

The new hotpoint range should be out anytime now according to what the rep told me before christmas!

Hi all

Just a quickie from me but I thought I would let you know that both my Aqualtis and WD640 spin anti-clockwise. No rhyme or reason I can think of. Reminds me of the 1980s Zanussi's.

Bran... very weird to see a Hotpoint spinning anti-clockwise. I know the Aqualtis machines do, but they're not really Hotpoint machines, but seeing a normal one spin anti-clockwise is almost surreal! Is the spin cycle still the same as the other Hotpoints, or has the sequence been changed too?

Still annoying to see a decent rinse level though where nana's WF340 doesn't even touch the door glass on the rinses, and only an inch up the door on Acrylics :-(.

rinsey rinsey

ergh stupidly it only does 2 rinses - thats including the final rinse - does that even count! - thats only on the newest ultima (the one in the vids) the others all do three and have the option for an extra rinse -

jon - the spin cycle is stil the same as the others - it just spins the other way!!

darren - new hotpoint range?? but i just bought this one grrrr lol

Ahh yea the "2 rinse wonder" As jon and myself call them! I find them acceptable as long as theres not a mass of oversudsing and the spins after the wash and inbetween the rinses are fairly fast!

Yep! New range. New look apparently! That's all she'd tell me grr! Ahh well stratus, all the more reason for you to buy another:D

An error on my part

Sorry, I've got it wrong. It's true the Aqualtis spins anti clockwise but the WD640 does indeed spin clockwise. I checked it last night when I was at my flat.

Anti-clockwise spin...

My 2001 Zanussi does this, as does my Mum's 2006 Bosch. It looks pretty odd, if you've owned machines like Hoovers which spin clockwise.
