John,

It's pretty well used up. The Revere Ware Mom has has made made literally thousands of meals in the nearly 48 years she's had hers.

Wonderful buy!

What a great, great deal for some fine cookware! When I first looked at these, they reminded me of the Bridgeport Copperware pan(it's not copper on the outside) I found at the thrift. It's just a novelty and wouldn't compare to these Aristocraft.

Congrats!

Hi Hans - I just discovered this last night, searching around. I have the copper core, stainless on the outside.
It's a good weight and looks nice in their squared off design.

Donald did well.

Phil,

Mom likes the way the Aristo Craft looks and feels, and is excited about getting something different. I think she deserves something different after all these years.

Tim - funny, same story here…we have used a set of newer and older Revereware. After finding some EKCO Flint Quart pans(three sizes), we're retiring the Reverware. We have a mish-mash …new All-Clad(from the good old Williams-Sonoma outlet store) and some odds and end pots and pans(like the Permanent 5-ply on the right in the photo).

48 years! Our parent's friends used Reverware, but my mom used a salesmen-sold only product called STEELCO. They were like tanks, but spartan in style.

I have a brochure

But no scanner, I will try to take a picture so you can see the complete line, I do know they made holders out of bakelite that the lids sat in to be used as serving dishes.

What makes it gREAT!

Is the pouring lip , you can pour soup or gravy etc and never spill a drop or have it run down the side like liquids do with most cookware.

Aristotle Craft

I'm cooking with my set now.My father and mother demonstratedied and sold this cookware, with the set I have now, over 40 years ago.The lifetime warranty stood good my parents passed this year and now it's my turn at 63 years of age.

Waterless Cookware

I buy single pieces of these all the time at garage sales, estate sales, consignment shops etc. Aristo Craft, Lustre Craft, Health Craft, Royal Prestige, Vita Craft, Image, Chalfonte Kitchen Ensemble, Amway Saladmaster, you name it.

I just picked up about 4 Vita Craft pans a few days ago.

Currently the good old USA made ones are really only from about 4 companies these days. There really isn't a lot of difference between any of them. There might be some minor variance for whatever the direct sales pitch (Image is basically a Lustre Craft with an added clad bottom).

There has been some consolidation of brands but they'll all basically last a lifetime.
