I posted on the Imperial section about the 1957 Frigidaire Filtrator dryer in my upcoming estate sale. Here are some other items that are pretty fabulous. I dont often get an estate sale with this many neat items in it. I sure love my job when I get hired to handle items such as these, but it makes me wish I had a bigger house.....much bigger!!!

1958 Zenith TV

More Hoovers! I was joking with the son that I think his mother must have owned stock in the Hoover Company. There are MORE Hoovers in the house.....pics coming up!

Now to the basement! Ive not really started to work down there yet as thats next weeks project. I did poke around a little and its revealing loads of neat items.......

Wholly sh**. I want the tv especially and the old hoovers downstairs, and the slot machine. I sold a little steam engine like that one, but in better condition, this past summer at the flea market for $60. Had one as a kid too, they were lots of fun, but boy are they expensive now to buy new.
It's a color tv isn't it?

Jimmy - you've hit the Jackpot!

Those are some great finds at the sale - holy cow! The Zenith looks beautiful, and I would imagine would work great after a re-cap. It is a funny thing about old ladies and estate sales, I always found an abundance of Hoover vac's as well. I guess they are as adicting as Lay's Potato Chips, "you can't have just one." And those model cars! Looks like there were a lot of Fords, but that Poncho looks fantastic! They look a little big for the dealer promo models, but unless I'm there, it would be hard to see. Don't forget to grab the Cadillac wire wheel covers that are in the paper bag too =). Did she have any cars /appliances out in the garage? That is where Cory *SCORED* last year...

Looks like fun!

So many Hoovers...

Hey Jimmy, great finds, especially that '57 Frigidaire!
Given your proximity to the main Hoover Factory, the woman or someone close to her could have worked for Hoover, thats the reason for so many cleaners.

Scott...

The green hooded Convertible is a 593, 1971-73. The pink one is a 67, one of the more rare models from the early 60's.
That plastic-y Decade 80 looking model is rare too.
This lady had LOTS of treasures in her house for sure!

I see a 62 Chevy Impala, and a Thunderbird in that box of model cars. That outboard motor ought to fetch some good money too! What a goldmine of neat antique stuff there. That television looks like a TOL model there! I have a BOL Zenith from the same era and those were in metal cabinets.

Looks as though this was a lady that could never throw anything away. (which is just perfect for us)...Thank you lady!
