Wow, that is almost around the corner from me! Actually it's about a mile and a half.

The company looks to do a good job on their website, had I know I might have wandered by today and see for myself. I have only been to 2 estate sales in my life, both were my neighbors and I just wanted a keepsake.

I guess if I want to find my Frigidaire '59 CI laundry set that might be the best way to get it. This is a GM town and odds are there are still a few tucked into basements around here.

In the Kitchen

You can see a chrome Hamilton Beach model K and a Dormeyer electric percolater at the end of the counter

My wife and I were to an estate sale which was a disappointment. But, St. Matthew Catholic Church, here in Wausau have their annual parish Treasure sale and auction this weekend also. So, after the estate sale, we stopped at St. Matt's to score some deals. I found 16 dinner plates, 12 soup plates, 8 cups & saucers, 12 dessert plates, and 1 creamer for my Cunningham & Pickett "Norway Rose" china. We also found 12 plates, 12 cups & saucers, and 8 dessrt plates to match my sister's Creative Fine China "Platinum Starburst" dinnerware. We have always found good quality items at this sale. The proceeds are divided between their parochial school, and missions.

I wonder about some of those "estate" sales. They sometimes have a look about them like "dealers" have planted a lot of their stuff to sell along with the estate stuff. Especially all those tables of china and trinkets and tschatchkes etc. Typical flea market material
