After not going to the sales for a couple of weekends -- due to the holidays... we hit a few sales and thrift stores today. It was good to have that feeling of "finding stuff" coursing through our veins again! We had some fun finds! One sale was SUPER packed full of people, it was crazy!

Me modeling our finds (L-R) Mink stoll around my shoulder. Sunglasses on my face. Apex Aero Cleaner vacuum. Tang jar and pitchers from two different sales. Very late (early 90's, maybe?) Sunbeam Radiant Control toaster, Fabulous Turquoise GE box fan (weighs about 25 lbs!)

Sunbeam Toaster

I gave it a wipe off and tried it.. Nothing happens. I may first try changing the plug or cord.

Super late model though.. I'd say maybe late 80's or early 90's..?

Fred...

...with the Toastermatic, try the screw in middle of the toaster under the crumb tray....it may need adjusting....before worrying about the cord (unless a multimeter tells you otherwise)

Fred I agree with Ronhic.....

Try adjusing the screw for the thermostat. Also make sure darkness lever is not all the way over to off either. If it turns out to be a cord might I suggest sprucing it up with a N.O.S. cloth appliance cord from the early 60's. I have a huge stash of them (still in their wrappers) I got off ebay and I would be glad to set you up with one....PAT COFFEY

Awesome Finds!

Love the GE Fan! It is so clean! I remember this fan in the elementary school that I went to. Every class room had two.
