*chuckle*
Thanks, guys. No, I don't have a problem with harvest gold per se, so long as it's in someone else's kitchen.
It is destined to become a dark grey, but I will put the panel back on it and take pics while it is still in its (*urp*) sunny hues.
Greg, I'm so looking forward to testing this dishwasher with a load of horrific dishes. We did a test piece the other night at Roger's, and it did a fantastic job. I'll have to bring over the jar of peanut butter and start smearing away. It is noisyish, but in that charming "I'm kicking butt" kind of way

.
Terry, we were excited, too! It was one of those days where a random vibe called you into the thrift store :-D I don't usually bring home two dishwashers at a time, but this was an unusual case--a perfect parts machine right there with the perfect next-generation dishwasher
Bob, we're contemplating moving soon, so the Magic Chef (with TurboBob™ setting, and nice, new racks) will likely stay behind. The Maytag will become our future built-in. The water tower actually has multiple slits; the lighting of the camera makes it look like there's just the one.
The floating timer dial is like our GE that we evicted from the apartment--and yes, it was delightfully harvest gold as well. It was also as loud as the Maytag, only unlike the Maytag, that whole cleaning thing didn't seem to happen.
Erik, if you look under thread 8435, "BobLoad in the Magic Chef...it can be done", you'll see pics of the D&M Magic Chef in all its glossy glory
