Can I have your autograph? I watched it...all I can say is WOW!!!!! And on top of that, MOD house!
My two favorite lines: "Well they're not quite Hummels..."(Robert; on vintage automatics)
"I gave up my basement...but I do get clean clothes." (Neal on the collection)

It turned out great! How long did it take them? Is it hard to clean? How many people did they use? Last question, Did they let you stay there why they were working? OK, One more, That was W/D parts on the clock wasn't it? OK , I'm done.

Hi Everyone thanks for your kind words. It was fun to do. The crew arrived early in the morning on a Thursday last September and filmed us in the basement. Then we went off to work and they started to work on the bathroom. Thursday night when the project was half done they closed off the bathroom and we were able to come home. No we didn’t peek, we used the downstairs bathroom. Friday morning they returned and we went back to work, after work they had us change back into our same clothes from the day before and they filmed our reactions to the new look!
The was about 15 members of the crew in the house at any one time between the film crew, designer, work people and Joan. The clock parts are new and not washer related, although some could be, Sy, the designer found them at Axman, a local surplus electronics store.

Thanks Greg, yes Gladys was petrified of the "cousin It" style garbage can, for almost a week she ran to get by the bathroom door real fast, so it wouldn't attack her, but they are now best of friends.
Decorating Cents
Great show! Glad to see they highlighted the washer collection ("It's not Hummel"). Love the great yellow stove and bathroom sink. It looks wonderful. May try that plexiglass shingle thing myself; perhaps in the laundry room!
Will watch again on Saturday for things that I missed.
P.S. Will washing those furry cozies clog up your lint filters?
