Ooouuuch...

I've always wondered about those french door ovens. They look cool but I cannot get around the fact that having two 350-450 degree door-sized pieces of metal opening out into the kitchen, at shoulder height for adults and head and face height for the little ones, seems like a good idea. I mean, I get a few burns every month on a normal drop down range oven door. Maybe I'm just clumsy but I would be burning my shoulders or face every other day on one of those. How do you open it to take things out without bumping on them?

Yes Tom.

Blodgett has made Commercial Convection Ovens since I believe the 1960's.

I remember going to a Restaurant Equipment Show with my Dad. He couldn't tear me away from the Hobart Dishwasher Display.

That's when I saw my first Blodgett Convection Oven.
