I just got accepted to Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!! I'll be going for a Product Design Engineering degree! I start in the fall!!!

Congratulations! I envy you. If I was independently wealthy, I would enroll in college and never leave. I truly enjoy learning, study, and research, but I would prefer to chose my classes and not follow a formal degree plan. This is a great adventure for you.

I leave you with this rather idealistic thought: "Don't let education interfere with learning."

I know your smart enough and won't make the same mistake my young cousin did. He was set to go to Ferris this fall but somehow screwed up his paperwork and could not start in the fall as he should have, I'm hoping he gets his stuff together and starts in Jan. Graduating with honors does not make you "smart" in all areas...
