What do you think of this washer? I also noticed there is a similar code WL4227J1 with a higher energy consumption for some rating. It's hard to find any videos on this. I wonder about the longevity?

I went to the F&P website . . .

. . . and couldn't find this particular model.

However, I wanted to tell you that I have a F&P washer and dryer that are 10 years old. They have worked flawlessly all this time.

The washer has an agitator, though, as opposed to those plates that do nothing. I would much prefer an agitator in the washer.

The dryer is a top load which is not made any longer.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Good washers

My friend's mom has the washer in the picture above. She loves it. I remember when they bought it and it was like working a space ship for her. haha. But it's turned out to be a good machine. As far as for the HE models with wash plate…I believe they are about the best you can get for HE top loaders. They've done an excellent job with wash movements so that you can basically clean anything in those machines. My Kenmore has the SmartDrive system based on F&P's and I couldn't be happier with it. I wanted to get the F&P but it was hard to find in my area. Def good machines.
