I was at Walmart and Publix grocery yesterday and of course I went down the laundry isles. Right next to the boxes of Fab from Colgate was the new boxes of Fab from phoenix brands. 32 loads instead of the 40 from colgate, for the same price. At walmart they only had the "spring magic" scent from both.

I compared ingredients, and from colgate it list enzymes. From phoenix brands it does not. Also,(and I this this part is hysterical), on the one from phoenix brands on the back is says, "Instructions for frontload (non-HE)machines".

I stocked up a few weeks ago on the Fab "Jungle Scent" from Colgate in a rural grocery store I went through.

Golly, if they are that careful about package printing, just think what the product inside must be like!

Hmmm...

Has there ever been a non HE horizontal axis washer, EVER?
I would be curious to try the two different manufacturers' equivalent products side by side and see how they stack up in smell, rinsing, and cleaning ability.

I am surprised that you were even able to find any Colgate Fab powder - much less version with enzymes. The Colgate Fab powder that I have been able to find in my local Dollar stores is in the Rain Forest Scent only and hasn't contained enzymes in years.....

Still does a fine job though.

Wow, I'm just like you Anthony!! I'd still assumed it had enzymes because I never had a complaint about cleaning performance.
