Fairly old Kenmore gas dryer

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Taht could be anywhere from a 1955 to 1957 Kenmore (Frog-eye as we ll it) dryer.  If it spent its whole life along the gulf coast, it's looking to be cosmetically in very good chape for its age.  Looks like it's missing the little knob to adjust the temperature on the left side.  I wonder if the little thing that displays in that tiny little windows is missing too, that would show what temperature you'd selected, warm, medium, high.

Hi appnut, yes the bit that was behind the tiny window is missing, may have fallen down inside, can't tell. Are parts available? The thing has only got a little surface rust. Looks like it might work without too much effort. Here's a closer look at the panel. Thanks for replying.

I'd be interested in it (and I think it may be located nearby), except that I don't have gas service.
