I found these two lovely little electric fans at the junk emporium today. I was especially excited to find the Braun HL-1 from the late 60's early 70s this one I think. Neat squirrel cage design. The design originally came out in 1961 I believe with a button instead of a slide switch. I have another one already but it has a tiny tiny crack in the casing, this one appears a little yellowed but no cracks..

The other fan is made in Canada called a Camframo or something. No cage over the blades it just stops it you touch it since it's not that powerful.

Camframo

Hey Pete, My aunt has 2 of those Camframo fans and they are awesome to use when sleeping......she leaves hers on the night stand for any guests to use. They are super quiet and do put out quite a breeze......I told her that I wanted those 2 fans when she decides to get rid of them.....Super cool!

I had that exact Webcor radio when I was growing up. I used to listen when I went to bed, brings back lots of memories! I probably still have it in a box of junk somewhere.
