Westinghouse made some great fans! For years in summer we used day-in day-out one of their big floor stand models in lieu of A/C, it finally died at about age 50.
Didn't mean to hijack the thread or anything. The newest patent date on my fan is 1917, but I think that means it was made circa 1919. It runs fine but with some bearing rumble, and the little cup holding the spring/wick tends to drip oil. Never been able to figure out why unless they all did that when they were new, which seems unlikely.
Keith, the clock is a Telechron Dispatcher. It was made during WW II and has a notice that the OPA (Office of Price Administration) ceiling price is $4.95. It still operates silently and keeps perfect time. Everyone seems to love it. I think there is even one shown in "The Cat in the Hat!"
