This shows the finished foam latex mask, painted and ready for application.
Note that the elaborate make-up for Xxgkzwbrf7 and Dorothy took a couple of weeks in prep time and then the actual make-up application was several hours in each case. I actually wore both of these costumes to work, getting up at the crack of dawn to get started. Talk about being a Halloween fanatic!
Oh, I forgot to mention, Dorothy also won me a very fine award one year! A $500 cash prize and two nights in the luxurious Beverly Wilshire Hotel!!

(This photo is the last in the Xxgkzwbrf7 series, and the last of my costumes. I do have more, but these are the best and, in their own way, the most topical....... Hope y'all liked em!)
For some reason, two of the Monica pix did not make it. The first one is particularly fabulous, as you will see, so I am very keen to have it here. Just too bad it's "after the fact" but better late than never. Maybe my orgy of photo posts broke the spin cycle of AutomaticWasher.org?!
heh heh, I was beginning to wonder if anyone was going to comment on this! I told Robert the Webmaster, I am kinda surprised no one else has chimed in on this tread ... maybe everyone's so shocked to see a side of me they had no idea about, they're to stunned to post...I dunno! hahaha
I mostly wish people would add THEIR best Halloween get-ups!!
I have another idea for a thread, too ... best PET Halloween Costumes! Yes, I have oooodles of photos!!!
I didn't feel like getting "all dolled up" so i just put on my witches hat ( all us bitches have a witches hat )and my favorite T Shirt that has Elizabeth Montgomery and Agnes Moorhead in their witch gowns and carried a Hoover Floor Vacuum and Trick or Treat!
2004, Got drunk this year LOL!!! My hair was longer so i made it stick up on end but on second glance it looks more Elvis. The face paint was more subdued to look "undead" but my friends got ahold of me and put more on and i think the final result is more "Joker". Oh well. As the night progressed, the more drinks that went in, the more clothes came off. LOL!! Can i print this? I just kept the cape closed ;-)
As any Good Gayette, my favorite time of all is Halloween. Has been ever since I was a little princess. And here's proof!
That's my mama's scarf, bathrobe, gloves and purse; and her high heels (which you can't see). I went clomping all up and down the street and collected more candy that year than any of my brothers and sisters -- my purse AND a pillowcase were full to the top!
Yes, I did this get-up MYSELF, at 3 yrs old -- to Mama's great amusement and Daddy's great horror!
My Mama did this getup -- same year as the other photo but earlier in the year, in the spring or summer. It was for some kind of carnival or fair at the elementary school.
That's a blue beret (shades of Monica!!), pigtails made from braided stockings, and one of Mama's old housedresses. (Remember when ladies actually wore house dresses for doing their housework?! MY Mama -never- vacuumed in pearls and high heels!!!)
When I was four, I was the groom in a "Tom Thumb" wedding -- tux & tails and all the trimmings. I -could- butch it up when I wanted to!!
