I was always interested in the end credit logos on TV shows. Do you like them and what are your favorites?
Mine would probably be:
The neon blue Proctor and Gamble Productions logo.
The 90s Jeopardy closing where the announcer says, "Jeopardy is a production of Merv Griffin, produced by Columbia-Tristar Television, distributed by King World!" as the logos appear.
The logo where a cartoon version of Oprah Winfrey pulls a cart that says HARPO on it and then it bumps into her and she bows and smiles.
The 1995 Matlock closing logos where it has the Fred Silverman, Dean Hargrove, Viacom, AND the Paramount Productions/Viacom logo.
Also, has anyone noticed the older shows had longer credits than they do today? Now they just flash by at the bottom of the screen while other ads are shown atop, whereas older ones had the credits fill the screen with the theme music playing and maybe a voice over of what would be on tonight. I guess they figured they could get more advertising time by minimizing and shortening them.
