Here in Melbourne Australia it is a long weekend so I decided to dip my toe in the Wifi digital musical pond. Little did I know how disorienting it would be. I went to JB Hifi and had a choice between entry level LG, Sonos and Bose. I chose a Bose Touch10 speaker because they were the best looking ( so shallow ... ) It was only when I got it home that I realised that it wouldn't play from my iPhone via Wifi but only Bluetooth. My Apple Mac will not even acknowledge its existence and my PC knows it's there but even with iTunes installed will not play any thing. I have however managed to link the iPhone via Bluetooth and have had some music out of the speaker.

Question 1 - how much sound quality am I losing using Bluetooth compared to Wifi? Question 2 - how do I get all my components to play together nicely?

Should have got the AW audiophiles' advice before purchasing I suppose...

SoundTouch app

Download the SoundTouch app to your phone, from there you can program the speaker to play various internet radio stations, you can also download it to your computer and play your iTunes library. The app will walk you through the process. I've got the SoundTouch 300 sound bar and it amazing. Very simple once set up.

Good luck
